The Rovian Partner Creator Program is a partnership program on Rovian for streamers and content creators. An approved creator shares a personal invite link on stream. The creator earns for every viewer who signs up through that link and keeps playing real people on Rovian regularly and naturally. A click or a signup alone earns nothing.
Every chess stream has the same moment: chat suggests a move, and someone always says “I’d have played the knight.” The Partner Creator Program exists to get that viewer out of the audience and onto their own board. If your viewers stop just watching and start playing, you earn too.
How does the Partner Creator Program work?
The program adds nothing to your stream; it measures the path that brings your viewers to Rovian. Rovian has no streaming infrastructure of its own and no OBS overlay. You keep streaming on Twitch, Kick, YouTube or TikTok, and Rovian gives you an invite link, a creator panel and a channel page.
1. Create your invite link. In the Creator Panel you choose a short code of 6 to 24 characters after rovian.co/r/, using letters, numbers and hyphens. You can have up to 12 links and give each one a platform and an internal label, so you can compare the link in your Twitch description with the one in your TikTok bio.
2. Put the link where people see it: your stream description, a pinned message or your profile link. Each link shows its clicks, signups, real users and signup rate.
3. A viewer clicks, signs up for Rovian and plays. Once they play regularly and naturally, they count as a real user.
Invites go to the first touch: if a viewer clicks two different creators’ links, they belong to the first one, and a later link doesn’t change that. Nobody can take a viewer you brought in with their own link.
How does a viewer count as a real player?
The funnel in your panel runs Clicks, Signed up and Real users, with Under review and Rejected counts beside it. A real user is someone who came through your link, created their own account and keeps playing on Rovian regularly and naturally. The evaluation looks for a genuine, unique account, completed games against real players and activity that doesn’t look artificial.
To prevent abuse, the formula, thresholds and signal weights are not published. In return, every rejected referral appears in your panel with a general reason category. If you think a decision is wrong, you can request a review. The panel only shows aggregate numbers; you never receive the email, IP or device details of the people you bring.
How are earnings made, and what do the tiers change?
The Earnings and balance card shows three items: the genuine player bonus, the active day bonus and the tier bonus. The genuine player bonus is credited once when a player from your link is verified. The active day bonus is added for each of that player’s qualifying active days, for up to 20 days per player per month and within 180 days of signup. Amounts are shown only in the creator panel and can change with the program settings.
Tiers depend on how many real players you’ve brought in over your lifetime. Everyone starts at Bronze; you reach Silver at 25 real players and Gold at 100. At Silver and Gold, a tier bonus is added to your earnings. Tiers never drop, so a month off doesn’t cost you yours. The panel also shows how many players you need for the next tier.
If you pause the program, your link stops working, but the members you already brought keep earning for you.
What does creator analytics show, and how do you get paid?
Each month, the panel sums up the activity of the players you brought in five numbers: new players this month, players who played humans this month, completed human games, total player time and unique human opponents. Only human games played after the invite and finished that month count; each opponent counts once, and player identities stay private. These numbers show which stream and which platform actually brought in players.
Payouts are on request. Your earnings build up in your accumulated balance, and once your available balance reaches the payout threshold, the “Request payment” button opens. You can have one pending request at a time. You don’t have to request: your balance carries over to the next months, and when a payment is made only the paid amount is deducted, so new earnings stay. The My payment requests table shows each request’s status. Earnings update after the daily evaluation, and the number in your earnings ledger is the same number the team sees.
What do the “I’m live right now” button and the channel page do?
Just before you go live, press “I’m live right now” in your panel. You’re listed with your purple tick in the “Live right now” strip at the top of the Broadcasts page, and anyone who clicks your name lands on your Rovian channel page. The status turns off by itself after 4 hours, or you end it sooner with “End my live status”. The button doesn’t start a stream or turn on your camera; it only updates your live status on Rovian.
Your channel page is your shop window on Rovian. Partner creators get a purple tick next to their name and a “Partner Creator” line beneath it. The page holds your banner, follower count, Follow button, social accounts, business email, channel description, stream schedule, any follower goal you’ve set, your recent games under Past broadcasts and your clips. When you’re playing a game on Rovian, a LIVE ring lights up around your avatar, and visitors can jump into your game with “Watch”.
Your channel page also works as an invite. Even if you forget to share your link, someone who visits your channel and signs up can be credited to you under the first-touch rule.
Who can apply, and how do you start?
The program is open to registered, age-verified accounts aged 18 and over. The application asks for your streaming platforms (Kick, Twitch, YouTube, TikTok), the follower count on your largest channel, your business email and the kind of content you make, plus your acceptance of the Principles. The content description needs at least 40 characters. The form suggests 500 or more followers but doesn’t make it a hard requirement. The result is sent to your business email within 48 hours, and no bank details are requested at this stage.
The Principles clearly rule out a few things: creating new accounts for yourself, offering money or gifts for signups, using bots, automation or VPNs, and promising guaranteed earnings. If you want to play your viewers one by one on stream, Banter Arena is built for that: open an event, drop the link in chat and call up the next opponent.
Read the Creator Program Principles first, then apply with “Become a Partner Creator”. Let your viewers watch you first, then sit down across from you. Open your camera. Make your move.

How are the Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers decided?
Your tier depends on how many real players you’ve brought in over your lifetime: you start at Bronze, reach Silver at 25 real players and Gold at 100. Tiers never drop.
