Frequently asked questions
Can't I just keep using my own video call tool?
Why put yourself through that? Rovian already has a video system built in that just works. But if you really want to, you can keep another app open in the background (we don't recommend it).
Can the whole office play at the same time?
For now our tables are built for one-on-one (1v1) duels. Big groups can still make a night of it — using Random Match or Skip, everyone keeps sitting down across from different people all evening.
Will the video lag?
Your video flows peer-to-peer (P2P) like a waterfall. And if your internet gets stubborn, our infrastructure (TURN) steps in so you see that final checkmate moment crystal clear.
