The Rovian tables are for adults aged 18 and over only. We collect a date-of-birth declaration at sign-up and never allow children to take a seat here. If you ever face someone whose age you doubt, don't hesitate — report them right away and move on.
2. You're in Control: Report and Block
Did something at the table bother you? You don't have to put up with it out of politeness. On every screen, buttons are ready for you to step in instantly:
- 🛑 Block: The moment you block someone, a wall goes up. You'll never be matched with that person again (it works both ways). They're gone from your table for good.
- 🚩 Report: Did you see harassment, obscenity, hate speech or a child-safety violation? Don't hold back — report it to us. Our team reviews these reports immediately and clears toxic players out of the system.
3. No One's Watching: Camera and Audio Privacy
- End-to-End Streaming (P2P): Your video and audio flow directly between the two of you and never pass through our servers.
- Never Recorded: The laughs you share or the blunders you make are never recorded or stored. They stay in the moment.
- You're in Charge: The camera doesn't turn on without your permission, and you can shut it off with a single click whenever you want.
4. Only the Data We Need
We respect your privacy. We only keep the most basic data needed for you to take a seat at the table (email, username, match history).
Safe-Play Tactics for the Table
- Don't share your address, phone number or financial details with anyone. We're playing chess here, not signing over property deeds!
- The moment you feel uncomfortable, hit "Skip" or "Block." There's no need to be polite.
- Report anything suspicious to us. Keeping this community clean is something we do together.

Are my conversations recorded?
Absolutely not. Video and audio flow end-to-end (P2P) and are never recorded.
What should I do if I come across a minor?
Report them immediately by selecting the Child Safety category, then block them. These reports go straight to our moderation team with a red alert and are reviewed as a priority.
Could I accidentally match with someone I've blocked?
No. Our block wall works both ways. You'll never see that person again.
How do you verify my age?
For now we rely on the date-of-birth declaration collected during sign-up. However, when we receive suspicious or abuse signals, we may apply additional age-verification steps.
