Basics: the King's Indian setup

First finish your setup: knight f6, g6, bishop g7, d6 and castle. You let White take the center, then hit it with e5.

If White castles (Mar del Plata)

Once the center closes, the play moves to the wings: White attacks on the queenside, you on the kingside. Move the f6 knight to d7 (or h5) and push f5.

  1. Knight to c6; after d5, knight to e72 نقلتان جديدتان

  4. If the knight drops to d2: again knight d7 and f52 نقلتان جديدتان

If White doesn't castle on move seven

After d5, slow the queenside with a5; if the bishop comes to g5, chase it with h6 and g5, then knight to h5. After the trade on e5, queens come off and the game is equal. If the bishop comes to e3, trade on d4 and press on e4.

  1. If White pushes d5 at once: a5, then chase the bishop4 نقلات جديدة

If White plays f3 or bishop e2 on move five

Castle first. In the Sämisch (f3), e5 again: after d5, knight to h5 and f5. In the Averbakh, when the bishop comes to g5, strike d4 with c5.

If White plays the knight to f3 or the bishop to g2

Same setup: bishop g7, castle, d6. Then knight to d7 and e5; when e4 comes, control d5 with c6. Different move orders usually lead to the same positions.

Against the London, same setup plus c5. If the bishop comes to g5, play e6 and h6 to question it; if it retreats to h4 after e4, win a pawn with g5. Against knight c3, play d5 and bishop f5.
